Did Chael Sonnen try to 'Pearl Harbor' Jon Jones at UFC 151? Jones' Coach Mike Winkeljon thinks so.

In this interview with bloodyelbow.com Jones' Striking coach Mike Winkeljohn seems to suggest that Chael Sonnen was aware of Dan Henderson's injury well before the August 22nd bout offer and had begun training weeks ago in the event of a possible bout against the light heavyweight champ Jon Jones.

"How long has Chael been attacking Jon in the media? Hmm. He's a man known for moneymaking schemes and cheating by bending the rules. And he's done this in various arenas. I think Chael played almost everyone like a fiddle. But I believe like a coward he tried to train and strike Jon when Jon wasn't looking. But hey, Jon is a warrior, and he, actually we, saw it coming. All I can say to Chael is nice try."
Wink's suspicions are not without merit with word beginning to trickle out that Henderson was injured as far back as three weeks ago, which would have given his Team Quest stablemate Chael Sonnen up to 21 days to get ready in the event that Henderson would not be able to compete.

What do you think, sneak Attack from the Pacific Northwest? or Paranoia in the desert?
