Dana White Tells Jenna Jameson To "Shut The Fuck Up" and Tells Tito Ortiz To "Put Her On A Fuckin Leash." caught Dana White at it again
Oh Snap. But Why? Could it be this.
 Or perhaps this.
Either way this is not behavior befitting the president of a billion dollar sports franchise. It reflects poorly on the UFC as well as himself. This is not the first time he's flown off the handle (4:34) and said something stupid with out a second thought as to how bad it'll sound in the 24 hour news cycle.

Dana White is known for his love/hate relationship with the internet. He is a frequent user of twitter, facebook and the underground mma forum. So you'd think he'd know rule #1.
Dont Feed the Troll................... or what ever this thing is.

UFC Requests Monitors For The Judges At UFC 130 In Las Vegas Nevada. via mmafighting:
Marc Ratner, the UFC's Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, informed MMA Fighting that the organization has formally submitted a request to the Nevada State Athletic Commission to install monitors as a backup viewing option for the judges assigned to score the bouts at UFC 130.

"I've emailed [NSAC Executive Director] Keith [Kizer] and asked him to put the request on the next agenda. We believe these monitors will be another look to help with the judges," Ratner wrote via e-mail.
Keith Kizer passed the buck earlier this week putting the blame for the lack of judges monitors, squarely on the shoulders of the promoters and the UFC took the opportunity to call them on it, at UFC 130, everybody wins here, better judging, better results, and fewer excuses. Kudos to the UFC.

Bones Jones Out Against Rashad Evans, Mr. Wonderful Phil Davis Steps In And Saves The Day.

Jon Jones is having trouble with a lingering hand ligament injury he sustained in his break out title winning performance against Shogun Rua at UFC 128, and has been forced out of his battle with Rashad Evans at UFC 133. Pouring ice water on the hottest feud in pro sports, a feud which has seen swagger jacking, ho moves, and more. Enter Mr. Wonderful. Fresh of his UFN 24 victory over Antonio Minotoro Rogerio Nogueira, Phil "Mr.Wonderful" Davis will step in to take on Rashad Evans at UFC 133 in Philadelphia Pa. The Petucky Panther was a NCAA National wrestling champ at Penn St. and will be main eventing his first UFC PPV and at home no less. points out who the real loser is in this situation. To wit:
"Evans (15-1-1) has not fought since last May when he defeated Quinton "Rampage" Jackson via unanimous decision. Afterward, he was supposed to fight Mauricio "Shogun" Rua, choosing to wait for Rua to recover from knee surgery to fight him. As Rua neared healthy though, Evans suffered an injury of his own. He was replaced in the fight by Jon Jones, who knocked out Rua to become the youngest UFC champion ever."
Since electing to wait for Shogun, we've seen Rashad's relationship with Jackson's MMA camp explode, his title shot come and go and then more disrespect in the form of very long odds posted in favor of Jones. Hopefully Rashad's got 'er back together and his luck starts to change, as he has lots of talent and is undeserving of the general scorn he seems to get from the mma community at large.

Mitch "Danger Zone" Clarke Crushes Ed Rincon @ EFC:8 .

It's Fighting Stupids #1 Blue Chip Western Canadian Prospect Mitch "Danger Zone" Clarke Crushes Ed Rincon @ EFC:8 in Lloydminster.

Here is the play by play courtesy of
Mitch “Danger Zone” Clarke (8-0) vs. Ed Rincon (4-5) – Lightweight
R1. Rincon lands first punch of the fight and it gives Clarke a mouse under his eye. Clarke looks to land the leg kicks. Clarke shoots the single and gets Rincon on his back. Clark moves him into his corner and proceeds to drops a couple rights and then three elbows. Still from full guard, Clarke lands a few more lefts and then repeated elbows find their mark. Clarke moves to side control and lands some right elbows. Rincon is not working from his back and Clarke is dominating from side. More elbows and rights land from
Clarke. More forearms from Clarke until bell sounds. Top MMA News scores the round 10-9 Mitch Clarke.

R2. The two circle until Clarke shoots a double and puts Rincon on his back. Clarke, immediately in side control, immediately throws more forearms. Elbows and punches by Clarke who then steps over for an arm but then heads back to side control. Not a fun night for Rincon so far who can’t get off his back and is eating elbows and forearms all night. More elbows from Mitch who looks to the ref to stop the fight. Dominating performance by Clarke who continues to throw elbows and left punches. Now left knees to the body by
Clarke and he finishes the round with forearms to Rincon’s mouth. Top MMA News scores the round 10-8 Mitch Clarke.

R3. Leg kick by Clarke to start off the third and a couple more as they stand for a while. Both fighters throwing punches from out of range so nothing is landing until Rincon scores with a straight right. Left jab by Clarke followed by a slam and Clarke is back in side control throwing elbows. Big knees from side and elbows to the ribs of a prone Rincon. Who wants elbows? Not me, but that is what Rincon is getting. Once on his back, Rincon never left it the entire fight. Top MMA News scores the round 10-8 Clarke.
Mitch Clarke defeats Ed Rincon by Unanimous Decision (30-27 x 3)
Mitch "Danger Zone" Clarke moves to (9-0) and one step closer to the big show.

New Brittney Palmer Pics, GSP challenges Hughes to a Wrestling Match, plus Scott Coker weighs in on Ladies MMA and Henderson vs Fedor.

Scott Dropped this Gem on MMA Weekly:
“I’m not sure if you guys knew this, but the last fight with Liz Carmouche and Marloes Coenen actually spiked a little bit higher than the Henderson fight against Feijao,” said Coker. “So the ratings are very strong for the female fights.”
Henderson wants the fight at heavyweight, despite mostly fighting at light-heavyweight and middleweight through out his career. Henderson's no stranger to open weight competition having fought Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira at heavy weight on two seperate occasions going 1-1.

Fedor’s camp want the fight at a catch weight of 220lbs, according to MMA Weekly. How or Why this would benefit Fedor as opposed to Henderson I'm not sure, chances are it's either a check stop on his way to 205 or a crazy Finklestein negotiating tactic.

Coker had this for MMAWeekly Radio:
“That fight is not confirmed, it’s not by any means. I would say let’s be cautious on how we frame that up. If that’s the $25 million dollar question, I would say until it’s finished, it’s never done.”
Either way I hope we see this fight, if only because it will probably be the last time we see a fun catch weight fight like this, with Zuffa running the show going forward.
Sergei Kharitonov vs. Mighty Mo @ Glory World Series May 28th

Cage Potato has the 11 best "back from the dead fights", where a fighter who is presumably dead in the water, pulls victory out of the jaws of defeat. great stuff here.

"He's a phenomenal athlete, no doubt about it, but you know, he's not a great wrestler," Hughes said. "I think if you put him and Koscheck in a wrestling match, I think Koscheck would eat him up. From take downs to rolling him, I really do. But if you watch GSP fighting, he does a very good job transitioning from striking to takedowns. He does great with his striking, so that's what really enables him to take people down like he does. And of course he's very quick, but if you put him up against a wrestler on a wrestling mat, I don't think you'd see that great wrestling that you do in a fight."
"I think I'm good with mixing take downs with strikes, it's true, but as far as (pure) wrestling, I started wrestling late. I was like 20-years old when I started wrestling. But I think a lot of people, they underestimate my wrestling. And as far as wrestling, I would not be afraid to challenge Matt Hughes to a friendly wrestling match."
I have no doubt that Georges wrestling is not going to be as good as the competitors on the olympic ladder, but i do think that he has the skills and conditioning to compete at a high level collegiately. Hughes comments probably stem more from the sore spot where Georges kicked the shit out of him as opposed to any kind of overly objective assessment of GSP's wrestling skills.
