Antonio McKee has signed a 4-fight contract with the UFC.
Antonio McKee has signed a 4-fight contract with the UFC . The MFC's top lightweight went on the savage dog show yesterday and announced the signing. McKee has not lost in seven years or fifteen fights, but has had trouble getting attention from the bigs on account of his penchant for grinding out decisions. Now's his shot, no dates or opponent were announced.

Coming back after a long layoff, it seems like some people have written you off. You’re a big underdog in this fight (2-to-1). In the last 7 1/2 years, you have three losses — all to UFC champions (Georges St. Pierre, BJ Penn, and Frankie Edgar.) Do you feel you’re getting a raw deal from the media and some of the fans?
“To be honest with you, I don’t ever go online. I don’t read any press. I don’t read any interviews. I don’t listen to what the fans say, it really doesn’t matter to me, you know. I’ve been the underdog. I’m actually surprised that I am the underdog. I’ve accomplished more than 95% of the fighters in the world have accomplished so it kind of surprises me that I would be considered an underdog. But, uh… you know, whatever. That’s great, you know. I’ve been dealing with adversity and stuff like that my entire career so I guess this wouldn’t be any different.”

Sean Sherk is a tough guy with a long list of accomplishments, and he'll be able to add losing to Evan Dunham @ 119 to that list on September 25th. Sherk's just not the same caliber of athlete and as time goes by he's gonna find this happening more and more. Sherk is still relevant, just not relevant to the title picture, Evan Dunham is.

- Hiring and Firing. The UFC started the week out by cutting Todd Duffee for being an ass. Meanwhile Strikeforce made a couple big signings in Josh Barnett and Jorge Masvidal.
- There were fights announced like Vera vs Silva, Grove vs Maia, Boy George Sotiropoulos vs J-Lau and Rick "Horror" Story vs Johnny Hendrix.
- We went Backstage with Mauro Ranallo and Ariel Helwani.
- Mike Tyson and I both regret not smoking weed with Tupac. But oddly I dont regret passing on the blow, with the Hitman.
- Speaking of weed Eddie "Tarzan" Bravo, done got high and called out Royler Gracie again.
- The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. It was a Good week for Killer Klitschko, a Bad week for Floyd Mayweather, and an Ugly week for Ricky Hatton.
- Nate Marquardt told Dan Hardy and Co. to quit whining and learn to wrestle.
- UFC colour guy, Joe Rogan and HDNet/ Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban destroyed New York Assemblyman Bob Reilly.
- Cowboy called Jamie Varner a Bitch who quits like a little Bitch.
- Our Boy Mitch Clarke won the TFC 155lbs crown, by german suplexing and strangling unconscious his opponent
- We had some really great fights (Houston vs Judo Terry) and some fights we'll never understand.
- Plus the Boss stopped by to train with BigDog and the Champ.
- Oh and you better watch UFC Fight Night 22 Nate the Great Marquardt vs Stump Palhares on 16/09/10.
